Online Games

One of my favorite online game is computer table tennis game. In this game, if you want to put the ball into the hole, you need to control Intensity and control angle. Why I like this game, because this game let me think about life. In life, there are a lot of things we need to control, can't do too much. For example, we cook rice. Everyone knows that cooke rice need to add water to , but this it does not add too much or too little. Too little water rice will be very hard, too much water rice becomes porridge. So we need to control the water of cook rice. Control yourself, that's a good thing. 

Is Chivalry Dead?

Nowadays, people become more and more impolite when they taking the public transportation. For example, didn't give up seat to people who need it. Talk with people loudly. Put the feet on the seat. Even to play with friends on the bus. That was very rude. I think the cause of this phenomenon is likely related to their habits. Maybe their parents didn't tell them what is polite and what is not polite. So the children just do what they think there is nothing wrong with things, and then slowly become a habit. They don't care about other people's things, they only care about themselves.
In order to let everybody have a comfortable environment by taking public transpotation I think this behavior should be corrected.

C-train Etiquette

  I have taken the c-train in Calgary. There are some etiquette on transit in Calgary. like,
1. courtesy seating is provided to the disability people. If a disability people asks you to give up the seat, you should do it. 
2.  Personal audio devices. If you are listening to music, please keep it down, don't disturb the other people. 
3. Food and drink. If you going to eat or drink, remember to keep it clean.
4. Cell phones. If you going to take the phone call, you should keep you voice down.
5. Keep doorways clean. Don't disturb the other people into and out of the c-train.
6. Don't let your belongings disturb the other people.
7. Don't smoking.



I think these rules is enough. If everyone can follow the rules, we no longer need more rules.

Long Weekend Plans

Soon we will have a 4 long weekend. Now, I make a plan to spend my four days holiday.
At the first day, I will go to my cousin's house to eat hot pot. This is the most common food in winter in China.



The second day, I will go to the cinema with my friend. we'd like to see The Galaxy of the Guardians for a long time.


And the third day and fourth day, I will stay at home make some dessert.

Counterfeit Products

Nowadays, there are more and more counterfeit in the world. The counterfeiter can make all kinds of counterfeit, like, shoes, clothes, software even money. The price of counterfeit is cheaper than the original product, sometimes will cheap an half, then the low-income people can but it. Also the quality of counterfeit is not so good, they always has some problem. You can buy the counterfeit in some private small shops. I don't think it is a good ideal to buy the counterfeit. On the one hand, the quality is a problem. On the other hand, it is not good for the development of a brand.

Money in my country

The money in my country is called Renminbi(RMB) or Yuan. At different times, my country issued different of paper money. Until now, there are five versions of the paper money.
This is the first version, released on December 1,1948.

This is the second version, released on February 1,1955.



This is the third version, released on April 20.1962.


This is the fourth version, released on April 25,1987.


This is the fifth version , released on October 1,1999.

This is the coins of china.
But in china ,we prefer to use the paper money more than the coins.Sometimes we will use debit, or credit cards.
In Canada, we can just spend $2 to buy a cup of coffee, but in China, it needs to spend more than $6.

City Life vs Country Life

I think I would rather live in city. First, there are lots of job opportunities in the city, it's easy for people to get a job that they like. Second, the shopping and entertainment are more convenient, because there are lots of shopping mall and entertainment places, like cinema, karaoke bar and club. Also, there is a good education in the city. People in the city can have a higher education. For all these reasons, I prefer live in city.

Introduction

Hello Everyone!Welcome to Sophia's blog. I come from Guangdong province, China. Now I am studying ESL program at the University of Calgary. Every school day, I need to get up at 6 am, because I live is far from the school, it needs to spend more than one hour to go to school.On weekends, I prefer to sleep late, then eat a brunch. Sometimes I will hang out with friends , but mostly I will stay at home watching movies  or doing some snacks. I like to watch TV serials, especially Criminal Minds, I like it very much.

Dream Job for my Best Friend

I think I will talk about my best friend Uey.  She is an Accountant because her dream job is to be an Accountant.  After her graduation, she went to a company interview, fortunately she passed. I remember she told me about her work the most important thing is that she loves the job.
